Customized optical fiber subsystems assembling
Starting from your specifications (drawing or detailed specifications), APEX Technologies develops customized industrial optical fiber systems (with the expertise of our special partner Absys) dedicated to be used as OEM’s subsystems. A large range of passive or active components can be included. These subsystems can also be built in order to use them as modules in our AP1000 mainframes.
We can lead or be part in all the product development steps. You can either furnish a list of specific components or ask us to select them with our suppliers and subcontractors, in order to provide you with the best equipment according to your recommendation. We manufacture the prototype using APEX Technologies’ assembly expertise.
Thanks to this knowledge, we can develop on-demand compact size optical fibered systems (operating wavelength: 1310 nm to 1550 nm, other ranges under request). The number of inputs and outputs depend on user’s specifications. We propose solutions including the following optical components :

- Active components (modulator, EDFA, switch, laser source, variable attenuator, photodiode…)
- Passive optical fibered components (tunable filter, fixed attenuator, polarizator, coupler, circulator, isolator…)
- Connectors under request, SM/PM welding
